* WHEN...Through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Katherine Journay
Katherine L. Journay, 92, Portland, Indiana, died July 9, 2017, at her residence.
She was born June 11, 1925, in Douglas, WY, to Garthel and Iva (Lawrence) Sherwood. On August 1, 1960, she married Paul Journay, who died May 13, 2006.
Surviving are her children, Donna Helm of Decatur, IN, Lois Arner of Decatur, Judy (Jerry) Stewart of Decatur, Jerry (Joyce) Arner of Decatur, Paula Butcher of Portland, IN and Debi Wheeler of Gas City, IN; her siblings, Dora Cordier of Zanesville, OH and Lawrence (Glenda) Sherwood of Seattle, WA; 17 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her siblings, Mildred Arnold, Jean Carbon, Gertrude Vaughn, Garthel Sherwood, John Sherwood and Mary Osborne.
Katherine was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother who treasured the time spent with her family. She loved gardening, working in the flower beds, watching the birds and cooking.
Services are 10:30 am Friday, July 14, 2017 at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio, Pastor Anthony Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 3:00 pm-8:00 pm Thursday and 9:30 am-10:30 am Friday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
