Erline was a 1950 graduate of New Bremen High School, where she was the Valedictorian of her class. She was a faithful member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen, where she has been the President of the parish council, and served on the funeral luncheon committee.
She was a member of the New Bremen American Legion Post 241 Auxiliary, and was a dedicated New Bremen Cardinal sports fan. She enjoyed attending the various sporting events of her grandchildren, playing cards, and having Wednesday morning breakfast with her friends.
Erline was a homemaker, and had also worked as a cashier of the former Howell's IGA of New Bremen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at the Church of the Holy Redeemer of New Bremen, with Rev. Fr. Thomas Dorn officiating. Interment will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery of New Bremen.
