Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the overnight hours. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions overnight and exercise extra caution.

CELINA - Bald eagles in the area continue to thrive with at least 11 nests in Mercer and Auglaize counties.
The number of nests have steadily increased over the years, said Mark Schemmel, State Wildlife Officer of Auglaize County. Jill Bowers, a Mercer County resident and eagle enthusiast, said she is aware of three to four nests within the county. [More]

CELINA - No snow fell on the Celina Relays this year.
It was records falling instead.
Four meet records were broken - a pair by Fort Recovery's boys and one each by Coldwater's boys and girls.
The Celina boys won the team title, collecting 105 points. Coldwater's girls won with a score of 102. [More]
