ST. MARYS - Two St. Marys men were rescued from the St. Marys River Saturday night after their kayaks capsized and plunged them into 47-degree water.
St. Marys Fire Department and emergency medical squad personnel received a call at 8:45 p.m. that two males had been caught in the river, which was flowing quickly due to earlier rain and snow. The men were holding onto a log south of the South Street bridge to avoid being swept away. [More]
