Mistakes cost Celina in another loss to St. Marys

CELINA - St. Marys and Celina were close statistically Friday night.
The annual Battle of Grand Lake was far from close on the scoreboard, however.
The Roughriders likely punched a fourth consecutive ticket to the playoffs with a fourth straight victory over Celina, winning 35-6 at Celina Stadium. St. Marys improved to 66-29-6 all-time in the Battle of Grand Lake. [More]

COLDWATER - The first quarter of Friday's Backyard Battle between St. Henry and Coldwater had the makings of an offensive shootout with the teams tied at 14-all with four minutes remaining in the quarter.
MINSTER - Big plays were the theme of the night in the Minster Wildcats' 42-20 victory over the Versailles Tigers. Minster's first five scoring plays averaged over 53 yards in length as the Wildcats repeatedly opened large holes for quarterback Jacob Niemeyer or his receivers to run through.
