* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:40 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Martha Axe
Martha J. Axe, 96, of Saint Marys, died 10:07 P.M. Thursday, October 24, 2019, at Grande Lake Health Center, Saint Marys.
She was born February 4, 1923, in Saint Marys Township, Auglaize County, Ohio, the daughter of Ollie and Emma (Ryhnard) Botkin. She married George Axe on July 4, 1942; he preceded her in death on November 5, 1987.
She is survived by her children: Paula (Francis) Coffey of Savannah, Georgia; William (Kimberlee) Axe of Toledo; Lori (Terry) Hubbell of Saint Marys. She is survived by 6 grandchildren: Melinda Coffey of Orlando, Florida; Dr. Mark (Janet) Coffey of Savannah, GA.; William "BJ" Axe, Jr of Toledo; Caleb Axe of Columbus; Krista Opperman of New Knoxville; Jenna (Mark) Spring of New Knoxville. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; by a sister, Emily Hunter.
Martha was a 1940 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. She had worked at Goodyear Saint Marys and the Island Dress Shoppe in Saint Marys. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Father Barry Stechschulte, celebrant. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. Monday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, where memorial donations may be given to either Grand Lake Hospice or Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
