Mary Lou Judy
Mary Lou Judy, age 81 a former Noble Twp. Jay County, Indiana, resident passed away Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio. She was a resident of Ft. Recovery, Ohio.
She was a 1956 graduate of Pennville High School and a member of the Delta Theta Tau, and Order of Eastern Star #202 in Pennville. She was a past member of the Salamonia Auxiliary Volunteer Fire Department and the Darke Co. Equine Association.
Mary Lou Judy worked at Caylor Nickel Clinic in Bluffton, Jay County Treasurer's Office, and was the registrar for the Jay County Health Department for 16 years, where she was a founding board member of the Indiana Vital Records Association. She later was as optical assistant for Dr. McAfee and Dr. Fullenkamp in Portland.
Mary Lou Judy was born July 25, 1938 in Wells County, Indiana the daughter of Howard and Elsie (Heitzman) Cash. She was married, February 22, 1963 to Duane Judy. He passed on April 22, 1996.
Survivors Include: 1 Son - Tom Judy (companion-Darcy Homan), Rockford, Ohio; 1 Daughter - Amy Jo Wilcox (husband-Douglas), Evansville; Brother - Glen Cash (wife-Norma), Pennville; 4 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren.
Due to health precautions designated by the State of Indiana, private visitation will be held on Friday at the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland with funeral services held on Saturday. Pastor Gil Alicea will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Salamonia Cemetery.
