CELINA - In an abrupt turnaround, school board members at Tuesday's special meeting voted 3-2 against placing a building bond issue and tax levy on the Aug. 4 special election ballot.

"Marion's definitely not known for baseball when you look at all of our sports, but he was definitely a true gift," one panel member said.

The fire that Treva (Griesdorn) Fortkamp had as a basketball coach dates back to her days as a star for the Flyers.

It's what made her great.

"She is a true competitor in every facet, so it made her a great coach and a great basketball player," one panel member said.
