Robert U. Klingshirn, age 84, of Coldwater, died July 23, 2020, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

He was born October 24, 1935, in Burkettsville to the late Leo & Lena (Sanderell) Klingshirn. On June 22, 1957, he married Marjorie A. (Beckman) and she died September 4, 2006.

He is survived by children, Mike (Donna) Klingshirn of Troy, Connie (Dale) Boeckman of Coldwater and Kevin (Lorraine) Klingshirn of Coldwater; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother Paul Klingshirn of Coldwater; and in laws, Robert Beckman of Coldwater, and Neal Beckman of Celina, Mary Jane (Larry) Meier of Maria Stein, and Marge Beckman of Celina.

He is preceded in death by in-laws, Edna Klingshirn, Kenneth Beckman and Connie Sue Beckman.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, past president of the Mercer County Crippled Children and Adults Society, Coldwater Lions Club and board member of the Coldwater Community Picnic, Parish Council and church finance committee. Bob formerly owned Beckman's Restaurant in Coldwater and worked many years in the banking industry throughout Mercer County.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Holy Trinity Church livestream will be at https://www.coldwatercluster.org/information/watch-mass-online. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

The State of Ohio requires that masks be worn during the Mass, and seating will be limited due to social distancing practices.
