Craig graduated from Lancaster High School, and then enlisted in the U.S. Army. He was a truck driver by trade, which was perfect for him because he loved traveling.
He spent many years as a Dead Head, following the Grateful Dead Band around the U.S. and Europe, attending concerts and enjoying his life as a free spirit. After the death of guitarist Jerry Garcia, Craig retired from trucking and spent his time with his grandchildren.
He loved watching University of Michigan Football, and was a big fan of the Green Bay Packers. He also enjoyed reading science fiction.
Craig will long be remembered for his loving spirit and kind heart. Please remember these lyrics from the Grateful Dead song "Ripple" and wish Craig good vibes on his journey:
There is a road, no simple highway,
Between the dawn and the dark of night,
And if you go no one may follow,
That path is for your steps alone.
Craig's funeral arrangements are under the care of the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, and condolences may be sent to his family via Millerfuneralhomes.net.
