Iris Davita Paxson
Iris Davita Paxson, 82, died on Saturday 12 December 2020.
She was born on 20 February 1938 the daughter of Helen Davita (Williams) Fenters and R.J. "Bob" Fenters.
This lady, wife x 2, mother x 2, grandmother x 2, great grandmother x 2, and friend x 100's paid her way from beginning to end. Davita loved and was loved in return. She left the world a better place than she found it through her efforts.
Davita's brilliant smile was always present, a smile that uplifted recipients each and every time. Davita, on her way through life, made deposits in other's accounts that far exceeded her withdrawals. She was a Christian lady who practiced her faith daily.
Iris Davita is survived by her second Husband - Thomas L. Paxson, Celina, OH, Daughter - Catherine (Michael) Garringer, Portland, IN, Granddaughter - Cara (Ryan) Muhlenkamp, Celina, OH, Great Grandchildren - R.J. Muhlenkamp, and Kaitlyn Eulalia Muhlenkamp, of Celina, OH. Davita is also survived by one sibling, William (Joy) Fenters, Portland, IN, and three nieces, Debbie (John) Funk, Portland, IN, Charlotte Fenters, San Diego, CA, and Jennifer Gray, Pennville, IN.
Davita was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and R.J. Fenters, a brother, Jerry Max Fenters, her first husband, Richard Wall, her son, David Wall, and an infant granddaughter, Candice Marie Horn.
Davita graduated from Pennville High School in 1956 then took additional schooling in Ft. Wayne, IN, before continuing on her journey through life where she forced success. Davita lived and worked in Warsaw, IN, for many years, retiring from the Warsaw Public School System where she worked as secretary to the superintendent.
After retirement Davita became deeply and passionately involved in volunteer work in and about Warsaw, IN; being the recipient of the Heart of Gold Award one year for her contributions and effort.
There are no services scheduled at this time. A memorial service will be held later. Notice will be given as to when and where.
