Brenda Stammen
Brenda K. Stammen, age 70 of Celina, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.
She was born on June 5, 1950 in Celina, Ohio to the late Donald E. and Virginia E. (Chappell) Maharg. On August 30, 1969 she married James F. Stammen, who died June 1, 2015.
She is also preceded in death by her brother James Maharg, her sister Patricia Van Leuven, her brothers-in-law Walter Stammen, Arthur Gerlach, Dale Fenning and her sisters-in-law Barbara (Herman) Sherman, Patricia (Roger) Dorsten and Margaret Moorman.
Brenda is survived by her two children Eric (Kim) Stammen of Coldwater, Angie Stammen of Montezuma, seven grandchildren Ella, Ava, Kelsey, Alycia, Gavin, Haiden, Brynn, three brothers and sister-in-law; Donald Maharg Jr., Richard (Tina) Maharg, Michael Maharg all of Celina and her two sisters and brothers-in-law Barbara (William) Stallings of Burlington, Ky, Dorothy (Art) Bushur of Pennville, IN, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Margaret Stammen of Celina, Charles (Denise) Stammen of Celina, Orville (Terry) Stammen of Boston, MA, Della Gerlach of St. Henry, Shirley (Paul) Kelch of New Weston, Eldon Moorman of Celina, Judy Fenning of Sunbury.
She graduated from Coldwater High School with the Class of 1969. She retired in 2008 from Reynolds and Reynolds in Celina after 38 years of service.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. She enjoyed her gardening, planting flowers and caring for her cats. Her favorite past-time was spending time with family, she cherished every moment she had with her grandchildren and her coffee friends. She loved to travel visiting family or going to a family reunion.
Private family funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Fr. Tim McFarland C.PP.S. officiating. Burial will follow in the Mercer Memory Gardens Cemetery in Celina.
