Marilyn Darr
Marilyn Darr went home to be with the Lord and her beloved husband, Kent Darr, on January 7, 2021 at VanCrest of St. Marys.
She was born November 29, 1929 in Findlay, Ohio to Norris and Ruth (Wisner) Stultz. Her mother and father preceded her in death, as well as a sister Jo Arras, a brother Dean Stultz and a grandchild Kyle Darr.
She was married to Kent Darr in Findlay on September 11, 1949.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin Darr of Celina, (Linda) and Kris (Janet) Darr of St Marys. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Keith Darr, Tygus Darr, Rhiana Darr, Kahlen (Jenna Garrett) Darr, Kent (Amy) Darr, Kraig (Stacey) Darr, and Kevin Darr, and three great grandchildren Sam, Ben, and Joy Darr. She is also survived by a sister Margaret Hintz and several nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was an elementary and kindergarten teacher at Montezuma and Coldwater schools, a member of the United Methodist Church where she spent countless hours volunteering for various projects and acting as a church elder.
She was a city council member, and Kiwanis volunteer and involved in many other civic activities. She was an avid Cavalier fan for any sport, any time. She was an example to all, of a life well lived and will be greatly missed.
A private family service will be held at Coldwater United Methodist Church at 2:30 pm Monday, January 11, 2021. This service will be live streamed on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/coldwaterUMC/.
