Matthew Jutte
Matthew Edwin Jutte, age 35 of Hartford City, IN died Friday April 23, 2021 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born October 6, 1985 at Caylor Nickle Clinic, Bluffton, IN the son of Omer and Kathy (Woodard) Jutte.
He was a 2005 Graduate of Coldwater High School and attended Mercer County Transition School. Matthew worked at CA Industries, Pax Steel through CA Industries and Community Connections, Coldwater. He was a past member of Mercer County Challenger Baseball, assistant Coach for Grand Lake Eagles for 5 years and a Fort Recovery Indians Fan. He hobbies included crushing cans, riding his golf cart and getting stuck, watching Walker, Texas Ranger AND LeBron James and LA Lakers. He has been a Cleveland Cavalier, Miami Heat, and LA Lakers fan following LeBron James.
Survivors include his mother, Kathy (Woodard) Jutte, Hartford City, IN Sister and "Brother"-in-law Joy (Jutte) and Patrick Howard, New Palestine, IN along with his nephew and niece Phoenix and Phoebe Howard. His maternal grandmother, Jeanette Woodard, Dunkirk, IN. Aunts and uncles, Edwinna (Woodard) and Neil Dent, Alexandria, IN, Lisa (Woodard)- godmother and John Anderson, Dunkirk, IN, Sister Noreen Jutte CPPS, Dayton, OH, Laverne and Betsy Jutte, Clayton, OH, Lavern Heuing, Celina, OH, Walter Jutte, Ossian, IN, Phyllis (Jutte) Homan, Maria stein, OH, Ethel (Jutte) Stemen, Canton, MI, Dennis and Delana Jutte, Fort Recovery, OH, and several cousins in the surrounding area.
Proceeding him in death is his father, Omer Jutte, maternal grandfather Edwin Woodard and paternal grandparents Charles and Margert (Wermert) Jutte and uncles and aunts Joy (Woodard) Current, Maurice & Pat Jutte, and Margery Heuing.
Mass of Christian Burial following all CDC Guidelines will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Mary Help of Christians Church in Ft. Recovery. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 7 pm on Wednesday and 9 to 9:45 am Thursday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
