Donald Livingston
Donald J. Livingston, age 60, of Coldwater passed away peacefully in Coldwater, on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
He was born October 20, 1962 in Great Lakes, Illinois to the late James & Shirley (Bissell) Livingston. On November 8, 1997 he married Denise Livingston and she survives in Coldwater.
He is survived by his daughters, Kasey & Michael King of Kentucky, Amber & Kody Schulz of Celina, Sarah Livingston & Rick Kodak of Lima; siblings and in-laws, Scott & Marlene Livingston of Coldwater and Michael & Terry Livingston of Hudson, New Hampshire, and Julie Livingston of Coldwater; 5 grandchildren; uncle and godfather, Donald Livingston of Coldwater and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by brothers, Dwayne and David.
Don was a 1981 graduate of Coldwater High School and retired from the US Navy after serving 24 years where he attained the rank of Chief Petty Officer. As Chief, his duties included being crew chief for HC46 Helicopters, a rescue swimmer, and an instructor for NATOPS. Don proudly served through numerous tours of duty including, but not limited to Kuwait, The Gobal War on Terror, and Kosovo Campaign. Although retired, he continued serving other veterans. He was very passionate about participating and supporting the annual Run for the Wall. He was a former Post Commander of the Coldwater American Legion and a former member of the Coldwater V.F.W. After the military, he enjoyed working in manufacturing maintenance at Ft. Recovery Industries. One of his greatest joys was riding his motorcycle. During his free time he enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and watching movies. He also loved writing and is a published author.
Friends and family may call at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater on Saturday Dec 3 at 10am.
Memorial Service with military honors to follow at 12 noon.
