Marjorie Indermill
Beloved by many, Marjorie ("Marge") Rote Indermill of Lebanon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Marjorie was born August 21, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York to Vivian (Berner) and Fenton Rote, and grew up in Pleasantville, New York.
Throughout her life, Marge was devoted to caring for others. After earning her degree in physical therapy from Tufts College, she resided in Cincinnati, Ohio where she raised three children as a single mother while working full time as a physical therapist. In 1983 Marge married the love of her life Albert ("Al") Indermill, after meeting through mutual friends. Marge and Al relocated to Celina, Ohio where they developed lifelong friends through the Senile Sisters, the Tulip Festival, and through shared activities at church. Marge and Al retired to the Lebanon, Ohio area to be near their extended families.
Marge cherished her children and grandchildren, and thoroughly enjoyed attending their athletic and performing arts events and celebrating their milestones - both big and small. She was also an accomplished baker and seamstress who was always making treats and gifts. Together, she and Al enjoyed traveling extensively in the U.S. and Europe, sailing, hiking, and birding. Marge led with kindness, demonstrated endless empathy, and was always able to see the best in everyone. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends, but her legacy will live on in her children and grandchildren.
Marge is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Al Indermill; her children, Kimberly, Eric, and Kristen Seaver; her stepdaughters, Karen Quigley and Vicki Dugan; her brother Richard (Nancy) Rote; and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 10am on January 7th at the Chapel in the Otterbein Senior Life Center in Lebanon, Ohio, followed by a memorial service to celebrate her life at 11 am.
Memorial donations in Marge's memory can be made to the American Alzheimer's Association of Greater Cincinnati or Hospice of Cincinnati.
