Carol Brunswick
Carol R. (Thieman) Brunswick, 83, of Sandwich, Illinois passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich, IL.
She was born June 20, 1939 in Burkettsville, OH the daughter of Henry and Clara (Fink) Thieman. She married Gerald L. Brunswick on June 20, 1959 in St. Henry, OH.
Carol worked an array of diverse jobs. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies and Women of the Moose. She loved to sew, crochet, cross stitch, read, cook, and play Bingo. Most of all she enjoyed family gatherings and was loved by many.
Per Carol's wishes Memorial Services will be held in St. Henry, Ohio, around the time of her birthday.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to a charity of the Donor's choice.
She is survived by five daughters, Christine A. Bailey of Sandwich, IL, Cynthia A. (James) Wilkinson of Plain, WI, Camilla A.(Ron) O'Brien of Mt. Horeb, WI, Catherine Brunswick of Bullhead City, AZ, and Cheryl A. (Richard) Schwartz of Racine, WI; three sons, Gerald P. (Theresa) Brunswick of Plainfield, IL, Gregory L. Brunswick of New Berlin, WI, and Gary D. (Karie) Brunswick of Leland, IL; seventeen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alma Solomon of Englewood, OH, and Mary Ann Hemmelgarn of St. Henry, OH; two brothers, Gerald Thieman of Celina, OH, and Leo (Thelma) Thieman of Dayton, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jerry of over thirty years; five sisters, Wilma Thieman, Irene Thieman, Mary Thieman, Agnes Rammel, and Rita Keller; two brothers, Paul and Lewis Thieman; and several nieces and nephews.

On June 17, 2023, a funeral mass will be said for Carol at St. Henry Catholic Church in St. Henry, OH. Carol's ashes will be laid to rest in St Henry Cemetery after mass and a luncheon/birthday party/celebration of Carol's life will be held at Wendelin Country Club from 12:00 - 4:00 pm that afternoon. All friends and family of Carol are invited to attend.
