* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until noon EDT today.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusts of 30 to 40 mph will be common, but the highest gusts near 50 mph will be sporadic. Gusts will decrease behind a cold front that will move through the area this morning.

Donald Walls
Donald D. Walls, 86, of New Philadelphia passed away on December 30, 2023, at the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio.
Born on February 28, 1937, in Van Wert, Ohio, Donald was the son of Luther and Gertrude (Fackler) Walls.
Donald dedicated a significant portion of his life to working at Endres Floral as a rose grower. He later worked for Dover Machine for several years. Beyond his professional achievements, Donald enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests that brought him joy and fulfillment. He was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and fishing. Whether it was spending peaceful days out on the lake casting his fishing line or venturing into the wilderness to hunt game, Donald found solace in nature and cherished every moment spent amidst its beauty.
Donald will be sadly missed by his wife, Arlene (Renner) Walls of New Philadelphia, whom he married on January 24, 1960. He also leaves behind his daughters; Brenda (Greg) Mizer of Dover, and Jill Spaar and (Erik Stewart) of Florida; three grandchildren, Logan Walls, Drew Walls, and Ashley Rader; four great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Gary (Sharon) Walls, Shirley Roediger, and Sue Johns.
He was preceded in death by his son, Neil Walls; his son-in-law, Michael Spaar; a great-grandchild, and seven brothers and sisters.
A private graveside service will be held at Ridgecrest Memory Gardens.
Friends are invited to a memorial luncheon at Dover Alliance Church on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 12 pm.
