* WHEN...Until noon EDT today.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusts of 30 to 40 mph will be common, but the highest gusts near 50 mph will be sporadic. Gusts will decrease behind a cold front that will move through the area this morning.

Betty Henning
Betty Jean Henning, 84, formerly of St. Marys, OH died Sunday December 31, 2023 at her residence in Wallingford, KY.
She was born January 27, 1939 in St. Marys, OH to Charles and Gretchen (Zimmerman) Makley. On February 4, 1956 she married Robert Lee Henning, who died April 7, 1992.
Survivors include: son Gary (Christine) Henning of Grant, AL; daughter (Lisa) Davis of Wallingford, KY; daughter Teresa Huff of St. Marys, OH; son Robert (Jackie) Henning of St. Marys, OH; daughter Jodi Baker of Wallingford, KY; son Aaron (Erica) Henning of Ft. Loramie, OH; son Eric (Diana) Henning of Celina, OH; son Brian (Monica) Henning of St. Marys, OH; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister Bev (Bud) Hunton of Huber Heights, OH; sister Carol Richardson of Athens, AL; sister Ila Makley of St. Marys, OH; sister Wilma Ginter of St. Marys, OH; sister Mary Frey of St. Marys, OH; brother Charles "Bo Bo" William Makley of Wapakoneta, OH; sister-in-law Doris Makley of St. Marys, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents Charles and Gretchen Makley; husband Robert Lee Henning; brother Robert Makley; brother Jack Makley; brother George (Maxine) Makley; sister Ruth Makley; grandmother Julia Reed.
She was a homemaker. Her favorite pastimes included camping, watching television and enjoying coverage of all types of sporting events. More than anything else, she will be remembered as a loving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. on Friday January 5, 2024 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
