  COLDWATER - Coldwater voters will likely see a new tax levy for Coldwater Schools on the Nov. 5 ballot.
At a special meeting on Tuesday, school board members unanimously voted to forward the levy language to the Mercer County Board of Elections.
School board members are pursuing a scaled-backed income tax levy at the Nov. 5 general election after their first proposal was resoundingly defeated in March. [More]

WAPAKONETA- The Auglaize County Jail Expansion Project is well underway and on track to be completed this spring.
The expansion involves a nearly $5 million renovation to accommodate an influx of female inmates and those who need mental health accommodations.
MINSTER - Councilors gave first reading Tuesday night to an ordinance to award a contract for the construction of a new Paris Street Park shelter house and directed village administrator Don Harrod to investigate ways to trim the cost of the project.
