Timothy Hagar
Timothy "Tim" Jay Hagar, age 62 of Celina, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024 from complications of cancer at his residence in Celina.
He was born on February 11, 1962 to the late Russell Dale and Rosemary Lu (LeValley) Hagar in Bellefontaine. He is survived by his sister Robyn (Mark) Armstrong of Celina nieces Jaime Armstrong, Beth (Matt) Overman, great nieces and nephews Adylin, Jayda, Patrick, Charlie, Markus, and Evelyn.
Tim graduated from Celina High School with the class of 1980 and was a graduate of ITT Technical Institute. He owned and operated One Eye Customs where he fixed many motorcycles. After he closed the motorcycle shop, he went to work for Crown and was on the saw line. For 47 years he raced motocross and flat track. He was an Oregon Ducks and Chicago Bears fan. He bowled at National Bowling Congress for many years, he bowled a 300 and his best series was a 792.
He sang with many bands, played the drums, and had roles in Grand Lake United Methodist Church dinner theaters for many years. He enjoyed classic cars including his dad's 1968 Cutlass Convertible. He was a member of the Grand Lake United Methodist Church in Celina.
Tim had a generous spirit, wanting to help anyone who might need a hand up. He had quite a sense of humor always ready with a witty comeback. His sister will miss sitting with him at football games and having a cheeseburger at the Bowling Alley on Saturdays.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home, with Rev. Matt Overman officiating. Burial will follow in the Mercer Memory Gardens cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Monday, November 18, 2024 and an hour before services on Tuesday at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home.
