Kevin R. McMurray, 53, of Van Wert, and formerly of Saint Marys, died Friday, July 31, 2026, at his residence.

He was born January 11, 1973, in Saint Marys, the son of Steven and Carol (Whitney) McMurray.

He is survived by his siblings: Jim (Anna) McMurray of Saint Marys; Lisa (Aaron) Suchland of New Bremen; Brian (Krista) McMurray of Lima. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Kevin was a member of the Class of 1994 at Memorial High School. He worked in the press room of Rheinmetall in Saint Marys. He loved motorcycles, car, and riding 4-wheelers and dirt bikes.

Funeral rites will be held 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Pastor Dane Gilmore, officiant.

Friends may call from 1:00-5:30 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home, where memorial donations may be made to any suicide prevention program of the donor's choice.
