An arctic cold front will move through the area this afternoon and evening, bringing snow showers and much colder air. While accumulations will generally be less than one half inch, quick bursts of snow will result in reductions in visibility and slick conditions at times. Some snow squalls are possible, which could lead to locally difficult travel conditions.

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana and central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 1 AM Monday to 10 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

* Snow Squall Warning for... Shelby County in west central Ohio... Northern Montgomery County in west central Ohio... Northeastern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Miami County in west central Ohio...
* Until 315 PM EST.
* At 229 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from near Wapakoneta to near Trotwood, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts up to 20 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Dangerous and life-threatening travel conditions are expected to develop rapidly in the warning area.
* This includes the following Interstates... I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 21 and 40. I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 57 and 118.
Locations impacted include... Dayton, Huber Heights, Troy, Trotwood, Sidney, Piqua, Vandalia, Englewood, Wapakoneta, Tipp City, West Milton, Fort Shawnee, Covington, Cridersville, Anna, Jackson Center, Pleasant Hill, Botkins, Waynesfield, and Brown.
