Maxine Morgan-Tilley
Former Celina and Wapakoneta resident Maxine Morgan-Tilley, 84, died at 11:55 p.m. Dec. 20, 2007, at Florida Hospital, Fish Memorial, Orange City, Fla.
She was born Oct. 6, 1923, in Cyclone, W.Va., to Joe and Lula Cook Blankenship. Her first and second husbands, Luther Morgan and Ernest Tilley, are deceased.
Surviving are a son, Clarence Dean Hatfield, Orange City; three daughters, Sharon Carl, Orange City, Carol (Jack) Prater, Wapakoneta, and Garnet (Charles) Mullins, Deltona, Fla.; three sisters, Janice (Art) Slone, Lexington, Ky., and Ruth Schoenleben and Alice Maynard, both of Celina; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons, Larry and Paul Morgan.
She was a homemaker and worked as a cook at the former Villa Cerise' Restaurant near Grand Lake.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, with Art Slone officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
