Anthony Grascia
Anthony Rocco Grascia, 75, of Rockford, formerly of Hastings-On-Hudson and Yonkers, N.Y., died Jan. 12, 2008, at the Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
He was born Dec. 3, 1932, in Hobbs Ferry, N.Y., to Pasquale and Angela Battista Grascia.   
Survivors are a son, Tim (Megan) Fokine, Rockford; a brother Ernest (Madeline) Grascia, Hastings-On-Hudson, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.
He was an accountant for the New York Daily News in Manhattan, N.Y. He attended Zion Lutheran Church, Chattanooga, and was a member of St. Mathews Catholic Church in Hastings. He also was a member of the Hastings Volunteer Fire Department's Hook and Ladder Co. #1 and Exempt Firefighters Association. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served in the Korean Conflict.
Services at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mathews Catholic Church in Hastings.
Calling is 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Hastings Funeral Home, N.Y.
