At 216 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Waynesfield, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Lightning can cause serious injury or death. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Kenton, Ada, Fort Shawnee, Dunkirk, Alger, Waynesfield, Blanchard, Roundhead, Mcguffey, Uniopolis, Dola, Silver Creek, Jumbo, Huntersville, St. Johns, Walton, Mentzer, New Hampshire, and State Route 195 at State Route 235.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.
When thunder roars, go indoors! Do not stay in the open or seek shelter under trees when lightning threatens.

Clarence Heitkamp
Clarence L. Heitkamp, 88, 9029 Pleiman Road, Anna, died at 11:51 p.m. May 6, 2008, at Dayton Heart Hospital.
He was born June 26, 1919, in Maria Stein, to John and Rosa Bruns Heitkamp. On Aug. 25, 1945, he married Lorena E. Riethman, who survives in Anna.
Other survivors are a son, Roger (Peg), Fort Loramie; three daughters, Carol (Tom) Buschur, New Bremen, Elaine (Steve) Barga, West Milton and Lois (Dale) Kennedy, Botkins; a brother-in-law, Cletus "Pete" Wenning, Coldwater; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are six brothers, August, Edwin, Leonard, Herbert, Oscar, and Arthur "Johnny;" and four sisters, Regina Hein, Ida Clune, Millie Goecke and Rosemary Wenning.
He was a lifelong dairy farmer and co-owner of Heitkamp Brothers Sawmill. He was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, the men's sodality of the church and the Knights of Columbus, all in McCartyville.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Patrick Welsh officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Contributions can be made to the church building fund.
