At 142 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Bluffton, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated and surface observation station reported.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Lightning can cause serious injury or death. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Ada, Alger, Waynesfield, Mcguffey, Dola, Huntersville, State Route 195 at State Route 235, and New Hampshire.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.
When thunder roars, go indoors! Do not stay in the open or seek shelter under trees when lightning threatens.

Rebecca Swartz
Rebecca "Becky" Swartz, 46, of 417 West Madison St., St. Marys, died at 2:20 p.m. May 6, 2008, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. Death was due to cancer.
She was born May 10, 1961, in St. Marys, to Charles and Joyce Winters Ginter, who survive. On June 2, 1979, she married Gary Swartz, who survives at the residence.
Others survivors are a son, Dillon, St. Marys; a brother, Charles (Christine) Ginter Jr., St. Marys; four sisters, Cheryl Frederick, Lori Burd, Kelly (Chris) Olsen, all of St. Marys; and Cleo (Gregg) DuGranrut, Beaverdam; a great-grandmother, Naomi Longsworth, St. Marys; and her in-laws, Fred and Janet Swartz, St. Marys.
Deceased are her grandparents and an infant son.
She worked as a secretary at Bruns Spouting and Roofing, was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and was a 1979 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School.
Services are 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Mary Kay Brown officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the Auglaize County Cancer Fund or the Joint Township Hospice.
