John Nuding
John R. Nuding, 91, 8310 state Route 127, Celina, died at 4:10 a.m. May 15, 2008, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Nov. 1, 1916, in Mercer County to Grover and Icy Fast Nuding. On June 28, 1942, he married Lucille Bryan, who survives.
Other survivors are, a son Robert (Edie), Celina; and a daughter, Judy (David) Bowers, Celina; a sister, Bernadine Krugh, Liberty Center; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Charles and Donald, and two sisters, Helen Harner and Josephine Searight.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Mount Tabor Church of God, Celina. He was a 1934 graduate of Rockford High School.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Revs. Richard Vanhorn and Kenneth Laffin officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and 9:30-10:30 Monday at the church.
Contributions can be made to the Celina Area Visiting Nurses or Hospice of Mercer County.
