* WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

Eddy Blossom
Eddy L. Blossom, 77, Rockford, died at 9 a.m. Aug. 27, 2008, at his home.
He was born July 25, 1931, in Rockford, to Benjamin F. and Floris V. Schwartz Blossom. On June 14, 1958, he married Shirley Platt, who died Aug. 4, 1994.
Surviving are a son, Vincent E. (Peggy), Rockford; a daughter: Vivian (Joe) Thompson, Elgin; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Victor.
He was retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, St. Marys, and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Rockford American Legion and United Steel Workers of America, St. Marys.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Rev. Mitch Arnold officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford with military rites by the Rockford American Legion.
Calling is 1-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
