* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 10 to 20 below zero expected. * WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to noon EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Sub-zero temperatures and wind chill values are expected this morning. While most locations will have values in the negative single digits, some isolated temperatures and wind chills will briefly be as low as 10 to 15 degrees below zero.

Betty J. Vogan, 83, 406 S. Wayne St., St. Marys, died at 1:35 a.m. Sept. 28, 2008, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
Arrangements are pending at Miller Funeral Homes, St. Marys.
Darrel Wayne "Doc" Laffin, 65, of 638 Hoying St., Celina, died at 8 a.m. Sept. 28, 2008, at his residence. Death was due to acute cardio arrest. [More]
