Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Mary Miller
Mary A. Miller, 92, died at 5:50 a.m. Nov. 28, 2008, at The Gardens of Celina.
She was born Feb. 4, 1916, in Celina to Lige R. and Mary M. Gibbons Ashcraft. She married Charles W. Miller, who died March 12, 1991.
Surviving are a son, Charles W. (Delores) Jr., Celina; a daughter, Sondra (Thomas) Sheehan, Noblesville, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Thomas Lee, and a brother, Vern Ashcraft.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Celina, and a graduate of Celina High School.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Ellis officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
