Martha A. Kremer, 87, of Versailles died at 5:50 a.m. Dec. 13, 2008, at the Versailles Heath Care Center.

She was born Jan. 18, 1921, in Fort Loramie to Joseph C. and Gertrude Behr Benanzer. On June 13, 1946, she married Sebastian Kremer, who is deceased.

Surviving are her children, Jeanette (Gene) Brunswick, Celina, Eileen (Carl) Hess, Caledonia, Vivian (Gerry) Wyen, Tipp City, Alice (Charles) Broering, Richard, Diana (Kenneth) Bohman and Mark (Doris), all of Versailles, and Bonita (Ralph) Seger, Greenville; a brother-in-law, Mark J., St. Henry; 27 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a brother, Paul Benanzer; four sisters, Elizabeth Mertz, Frances DeBrosse, Sister Agnesine Benanzer and Helen Glynn; and a granddaughter.

She was a homemaker and member of St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles, and Holy Family Catholic Church, Frenchtown. She also was a member of St. Anne Sodality and was former member of the church choir, both at St. Denis.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Denis Catholic Church, the Rev. David Vincent officiating. Burial is at Holy Family Cemetery, Frenchtown.

Calling is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles. The St. Anne Sodality will conduct a Rosary Service at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
