Leona J. Everman, 93, of Coldwater, died at 1:35 p.m. Dec. 20, 2008, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.

She was born June 28, 1915, in North Star, to George and Mary Overman Zumbrink. On Oct. 10, 1945, she married Albert J. Everman, who died May 20, 1975.

Surviving is a sister, Lorena Vannett, Coldwater.

Deceased are a sister and her husband, Romania and Bevan Linn; a brother-in-law, William Vannett; and an infant brother.

She worked for 30 years as a cook at Coldwater Exempted Village School and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and its St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, all in Coldwater.

Funeral Mass is 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.

Calling is 3-8 p.m. Monday and 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
