Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

Jeffrey Kremer
Jeffrey A. "Turk" Kremer, 50, 312 E. South St., Coldwater, died at 5:30 a.m. July 3, 2009, at his home. Death was due to cancer.
He was born Aug. 18, 1958, in Coldwater, to Raymond and Jeanene Vagedes Kremer, who survive in Coldwater. On April 7, 1978, he married Lisa Powell, who also survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Jai (Heather) Zahn Kremer and Jared Kremer, all of Coldwater; two daughters, Jill (Mike) Ferguson, Celina, and Jessica (Craig) Dillhoff, Coldwater; six brothers, Timothy (Sue) Kremer, Brian (Amy) Kremer and Jason Kremer, all of Coldwater, Eric (Viki) Kremer, and Philip (Linda) Kremer and Brad (Marcia) Kremer, all of Tipp City; four sisters, Cynthia Kremer and Jodi Kremer (Kevin Hartzell), all of Coldwater, Gail (Brian) Quan, Denver, Colo., and Janel (Brad) Still, Clayton, N.C.; a mother-in-law, Marie Powell, Coldwater; and four grandchildren.
Deceased are a sister, Lorraine; and a father-in-law, Glenn Powell.
He worked at the former Huffy Bicycle Corp. in Celina for 23 years and at Accutech Films, Coldwater. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and a social member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion, all of Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
