Sub-zero temperatures and wind chill values are expected this morning. While most locations will have values in the negative single digits, some isolated temperatures and wind chills will briefly be as low as 10 to 15 degrees below zero.

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 10 to 20 below zero expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 PM Friday to noon EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Rosemary Umstead

Rosemary T. Umstead, 76, Coldwater, died July 2, 2009, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.

She was born Dec. 29, 1932, in Coldwater, to William and Theresia Sudhoff Turckes. On Aug. 8, 1962, she married Charles F. Umstead, who survives in Coldwater.

Also surviving are two daughters, Kathleen A. Umstead, Centerville, and Theresia A. Umstead, Wapakoneta; two sons, Charles E. (Elayne) Umstead, Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and Richard W. Umstead, Coldwater; a brother, Richard Turckes, Coldwater; and six grandchildren.

Deceased are two brothers, Joseph and Raymond Turckes.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and its St. Ann's Rosary Altar Society.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. today and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at N. J. Hogenkamp Sons Funeral Home, Coldwater.
