Connie Prenger
Connie L. Prenger, 54, of 8 Sycamore St., Minster, died at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 10, 2009. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born Dec. 13, 1954, in St. Marys to Roger and Theresa Bensman Bornhorst. On Aug. 6, 1977, she married James F. Prenger, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Ryan Prenger and fiancee Nyssa Hoch, Oakland, Calif.; and Jack Prenger, Dublin; brothers and sisters, Phyllis (Jerry) Baumer, Minster, Lynn (Greg) Meyer, Celina, Jill (John) Frierott, Bartlette, Tenn., and Tony (Gretchen) Bornhorst, Pinehurst, N.C.; and her mother-in-law, Irene Prenger, Egypt.
She was promotion director for the Country Concert, Newport, and was an entertainer with her husband for 35 years. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. A reception will follow at the K of C Hall in Minster.
Calling is 9 a.m. until time of service at the church.
