* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize, Darke, Mercer and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 356 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Fort Loramie, New Bremen, Minster, Newport, New Knoxville, Russia, Osgood, Willowdell, Chickasaw, Kettlersville, Yorkshire, Lake Loramie State Park, Egypt, Maria Stein, Mccartyville and Houston.

David Wendel
Former Celina resident David T. "Tim" Wendel, 49, 333 N. Prospect St., Marion, died Aug. 10, 2009, at Marion General Hospital. The cause of death was lung cancer.
He was born April 29, 1960, in Celina to Wayne and Helen Gebele Wendel.
Surviving are a sister, Karen Tower, Merritt Island, Fla.; and a brother, Thomas Wendel, Sacramento, Calif.
He attended Celina Senior High School. He had a lifelong disability related to mental illness and was not employed.
He will be cremated, and his remains will be buried near those of his mother at St. Mary Cemetery in Fort Recovery. The family anticipates holding a private memorial service in late October.
