Jerome Schoenlein
Jerome R. "Jerry" Schoenlein, 56, 6324 E. State Road 26, Portland, Ind., died at 12:10 p.m. Aug. 11, 2009, at his farm in Jay County. Cause of death has not been determined. An autopsy is pending.
He was born June 5, 1953, in Coldwater to Virgil B. and Eleanor F. Huber Schoenlein. On June 18, 2004, he married Marcia Heidegger, who survives.
Other survivors are four brothers, Ernie (Betty) Schoenlein, Portland, Clete (Sharon) Schoenlein, Ridgeville, Ind., Dennis (Deb) Schoenlein, Fort Recovery and Don (Diana) Schoenlein, Coldwater.
Deceased is a sister, Diane Schoenlein.
He was a farmer and graduated in 1971 from Fort Recovery High School. He was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, Fort Recovery, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
