Carrie Eckstein
Carrie Louise Eckstein, 28, Palm Springs, Calif., died June 7, 2010, from complications from Type I Diabetes.
She was born Feb. 7, 1982, in Columbus to Gary and Sandy Garrett Eckstein, who survive in Powell.
Also surviving is a sister, Holly (Joshua) Kinkel, New Albany; two brothers, David (Gretchen) Eckstein, Grove City, and Brian Eckstein; and grandparents, Clarence and Alberta Moorman Eckstein, Celina.
Deceased are grandparents, Porter and Dorothy Rose Garrett.
She was a 2000 graduate of Grove City High School and a 2005 graduate of Mount Carmel School of Nursing. She worked as a travel nurse in Palm Springs.
Funeral services were June 14, 2010, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Grove City. Burial was at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Lockbourne.
Memorials can be made to the Santa Maria Charities/Carrie Eckstein Memorial Fund, Powell.
