* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1218 AM EDT, radar indicated scattered thunderstorms developing which contain moderate to heavy rainfall. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area over the next hour or two. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

Ruth Henschen
Ruth L. Henschen, 80, New Knoxville, died at 9 p.m. June 14, 2010, at the Gardens of Wapakoneta.
She was born April 5, 1930, in New Knoxville to Edward and Lela Schmidt Schroer. On May 20, 1950, she married Lester Henschen, who died Feb. 24, 2007.
Surviving are two sons, Mark (Sherry) Henschen and Kevin Henschen, all of New Knoxville; a sister, Lillian (Norman) Wierwille, New Knoxville; a daughter-in-law, Luan Henschen-Louis; five grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Deceased is a son, Jeff Henschen.
She was a 1948 graduate of New Knoxville High School. She earned bachelor's and master's degrees from Wright State University. She taught fourth, fifth and sixth grades at New Knoxville school for 26 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of Beta Upsilon Chapter of Delta Kamma Gamma Society. She was selected a Jennings Scholar in 1988 and was in Who's Who of American Teachers. She helped on the family dairy farm. She was a member of First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, where she was active in the Women's Guild and held various offices. She taught Sunday school for many years. She also was a member of the Prayer Chain of the church and youth prayer group.
Funeral rites are 11 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. David Williams officiating. Burial is at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery in New Knoxville.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday in the Heritage Room of the church.
Memorials can be made to the Radio Broadcast Fund of the church.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Vornholt-Miller Funeral Home in New Knoxville.
