Jose Samaniego
Jose Samaniego, 75, Celina, died at 1:05 p.m. July 2, 2010, at Celina Manor Nursing Home in Celina.
He was born Feb. 17, 1935, in Dilley, Texas, to Jose and Micaela Botello Samaniego.
Surviving are four brothers, Roger (Lanna) Samaniego, Celina, Ray (Betty) Samaniego, Mario (Ruby) Samaniego, all of Ocala, Fla., and Robert (Tony) Samaniego, Crystal City, Texas; a sister, Juanita Lopez, Troy; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Samaniego, St. Marys.
Deceased are two brothers, Albert Samaniego and Juan Jose Samaniego; and a sister, Consuelo Trevino.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. He was formerly employed at Cheryl Ann Services in Celina.
A Memorial Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating.
Memorials can be made to the I.C. Endowment Fund.
