Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the overnight hours. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions overnight and exercise extra caution.

John Frey III
John F. "Jake" Frey III, 40, St. Marys died Nov. 6, 2011, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 9, 1971, in St. Marys, to John II and Mary Makley Frey, who survive. On Sept. 20, 2003, he married Hope Hall, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Tabatha Thornsberry, Summer Frey, Jonda Frey and Jakey Frey, all of St. Marys; siblings, Maria (Tim) McDermitt, St. Marys, Shelly (Robert) Mabry, St. Marys, Carey (Larry) McCollum, St. Marys, Christopher Speicher, St. Marys, and Jason Frey, Colorado Springs, Colo.; a stepmother Barb Frey, Colorado Springs; and two grandchildren.
He was a member of Eagles Aerie in Celina.
Service is 10:30 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
