Mildred Luthman
Mildred M. Luthman, 92, Wapakoneta, died at 6 a.m. July 22, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 25, 1919 in St. Henry to Louis and Minnie Fullenkamp Stahl. On Sept. 13, 1947, she married Urban J. Luthman, who died March 28, 1992.
Surviving are seven children, Mary Lou (Al) Brink, Atlanta, Ga., Carol Luthman, Atlanta, Gregg (Sandra) Luthman, Wapakoneta, Elaine (Paul) Leibel, Cincinnati, Gene (Teri) Luthman, Fort Collins, Texas, Mark (Joyce) Luthman, Minster, and Margie (Terry) Luthman-Parrish, Tocomo, Wash.; three sisters-in-law, Alma Overman, Dayton, Viola Luthman, Coldwater, and Ruth Luthman, St. Marys; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Also deceased is a sister, Alice Scheblo.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, was a Eucharistic minister for the sick and regularly participated in the Eucharistic Adoration Chapel. She was a member of the former Christian Mothers Sodality, was a regular bingo and festival worker and was a part of the St. Joseph sewing ladies group. She also was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1272 and a supporter of Right to Life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Daniel Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Wapakoneta.
Calling is 5-9 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Long & Folk Chapel, Wapakoneta.
Memorials may be given to the church, St. Rita's Hospice or Right to Life.
