Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Angelo Busacca
Angelo Louis Busacca, 68, Mendon, held out his hand to his heavenly father to take his final journey on Jan. 2, 2013, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born May 27, 1944, in Jersey City, N.J., to Basil and Salome Gebhard Busacca. On Jan. 22, 1984, he married Sara A. Jones, who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Alexandria Linda Busacca and Dominic Santino Busacca, both of Mendon; a sister, Clara (Jacob) Silverman of Rockford; a mother-in-law, Mary Jane Hahn of Mendon; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Tom (Gloria) Hahn and Chuck (Anita) Jones, both of New Castle, Pa., Kenny (Lorraine) Hahn of Mesa, Ariz., Stan (Dianne) Jones of Napa Valley, Calif., Bill Hahn and Linda (Paul) Jaworski, both of Erie, Pa., Rich Jones of Mendon and Jackie Strama of Marathon, Fla.
He had worked as a police officer in Jersey City. From 1982 to 2003, he was employed at Colonial Nursing Home in Rockford. He also served as a driver for the Mercer County Veterans Service Office.
He had attended Snider High School in Jersey City and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Mercer County Sportsmen's Club, the National Rifle Association and the Pi Kappa Phi Delta Sigma Honorary Chapter.
His interests were Harley-Davidson Motorcycles and scuba diving.
He will never be forgotten. He has touched so many people with his kindness and perseverance. He loved his family, his friends, his country and adored people. Until his final hours on this earth, he continued to be an inspiration to others and looked forward to meeting his Lord and savior.
Funeral service is 7 p.m. today at W.H. Dick & Son-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Bruce Strine officiating. Military rites, conducted by Celina American Legion Post 210 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713, will be conducted at 7:30 p.m.
Calling is 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
