The combination of low level moisture and light winds will be favorable for fog development this afternoon. The fog...possibly dense at times...will last at least into this evening before some improvement occurs as a deepening area of low pressure ripples northeast through the region.
Motorists should expected visibilities to lower this afternoon with low visibilities continuing into this evening. Visibility may be reduced to a quarter mile or less at times. Be prepared to slow down, allow extra time to reach your destination, and keep your low beam headlights on.

Cecelia G. Vorst
Cecelia G. Hohenbrink Vorst, 88, Kalida, died at 3:25 a.m. Jan. 3, 2013, at The Meadows of Kalida.
She was born Sept. 21, 1924, in Custard, to William and Anna (Brown) Hohenbrink. On July 14, 1945, she married Cyril A. Vorst Sr., who died May 30, 1990.
Surviving are 15 children, Vincent (Kathy) Vorst, Kalida, Lavern (Mary Ann) Vorst, Tulsa, Okla., Wannitta (Paul) Dennis, Pickerington, Marilyn (Dale) Ricker, Ft. Jennings, Joyce Ann (Kathy Shaffer) Vorst, New Port, Ky., John (Rosie) Vorst, Findlay, Bernice (Art) Schnipke, Ottoville, Patricia (Daniel) McConnell, Zanesville, Anthony (Sandy) Vorst, Kalida, Cyril (Phyllis) Vorst Jr., Glandorf, Virginia (Carl) Beining, Ottoville, Cecile (Ken) Kahle, Coldwater, Connie (Ken) Kruse, Columbus Grove, Michael (Deb) Vorst, Findlay, and Fran (Diane) Vorst, Kalida; 46 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren with two on the way; and a daughter-in-law, Elaine (Nicholas) Balbaugh.
Also deceased are three sons, Michael, Norman and Nicholas Vorst; an infant daughter; a granddaughter, Lily Ann Kruse; a brother, Edmund (Lola) Hohenbrink; and four sisters, Mary Agnes (Paul) Shondel, Dorothy (Rudy) Warnecke, Evelyn (Norman) Utrup, and Viola (Charles) Schrieber.
Cecelia and her husband were the owners of Vorst Sewing Center in Van Wert for 26 years. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida, and its Rosary Altar and Catholic Ladies of Columbia societies. She enjoyed sewing, canning, cooking, gardening and flowers. Cecelia loved being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida, the Rev. Mark Hoying and Monsignor Mike Hohenbrink officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Saturday and 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Jackson Township (corner of state routes 224 and 634), where an Altar Rosary/CLC service is 7 p.m. Sunday.  Memorials may be made to Putnam County Home Health and Hospice or to the church.
