* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Southerly winds will increase today ahead of an approaching cold front. Sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph can be expected with gusts of 35 to 45 mph at times this afternoon. Be sure to secure outdoor objects.

Arthur Orr
Arthur F. "Red Man" Orr Jr., 91, formerly of St. Marys, died May 31, 2013, at his residence in Chelmsford, Mass.
He was born March 14, 1922, in Brownsville, to Arthur and Edna Bogle Orr. On Dec. 16, 1950, he married Ruth V. Zwiebel in Decatur, Ind., and she died March 16, 2003.
Survivors include three daughters, Connie (Paul) Hofmann  of Chelmsford, Mass., Carol Sue Severns of Delaware, and Shirley Hicks of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; a son, Gary (Deb) Orr of St. Marys; five grandchildren, Matthew and Gwendolyn Hofmann, Mitchell and Nicole Orr, and Julie Van Wynsberghe; two great-grandchildren, Riana and Dylan Van Wynsberghe; and two sisters, Doris Sears of Orlando, Fla., and Vada Anco of Newark.          
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Verla McComb and Neva Orr, and two brothers, Lawrence Orr and Charles Orr.
He was a graduate of Thornville High School. A veteran of the United States Army, his battalion was present during the Battle of the Bulge in World War II. He was a retired production employee for Goodyear in St. Marys. He was a member of American Legion Post #323, VFW Post #9289 and Eagles Lodge Aerie #767, all in St. Marys. His favorite pastime was assembling jigsaw puzzles.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Burial with full graveside military honors will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
