* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Margaret Bretz
Margaret B. "Peg" Bretz, 89, Fort Recovery, died Jan. 5, 2014, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born July 11, 1924, in Union City, Ind., to the late Lester Holdeman and the late Hazel (Armacost) Holdeman.
She was married in 1946 in Union City, Ind., to Charles "Chuck" Bretz, who preceded her in death Sept. 28, 2009.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl (Ron) Koppelman, Fort Recovery; a son, Dave (Peg) Bretz, Fort Recovery; a sister, Marie Nuss, Troy; in-laws, Larry and Betty Bretz, Russell Springs, Ky.; five grandchildren, Kim, Jeff, Carrie, Greg and Brad; 10 great-grandchildren, Derek, Cody, Cole, Kelsey, Shelby, Ian, Logan, Caden, Adelle and Mara.
Deceased is a son, Greg Bretz, and a brother, John Holdeman.
She was employed as a waitress for many years at the former Thobe's and Meinerding's restaurants in Fort Recovery. She was a graduate of the former Wayne High School, Union City, Ind., and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, both of Fort Recovery. She also was a member of the Fort Recovery United Methodist Church. She and her husband enjoyed spending time with family and friends at their cottage at Hecht's Landing near Celina.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery. The Rev. Allan Brown will officiate, and burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Thursday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home.
