* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Mark Ruschau
Mark D. Ruschau, 54, New Bremen, died at 6:45 p.m., Jan. 5, 2014, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born July 11, 1959, in Coldwater, to the late Jerome "Jim" and the late Pauline (Mescher) Ruschau. He married Theresa Nerderman on March 13, 1993, in New Bremen, and she survives in New Bremen.
He is also survived by his brothers and sister, Michael (Karen) Ruschau, Cridersville; Sandra (Tim) Hirschfeld, St. Marys; and David (Molly) Ruschau, Avon; in-laws, Rich (Norma) Nerderman, Minster; Sherry (Rob) Coffey, St. Marys; Jeff (Eula) Nerderman, Fishers, Ind.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, New Bremen. He graduated from Brunnerdale High School Seminary, Canton, and from St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Ind. He worked for Cooper Farms, St. Henry, and wrote sports articles for The Daily Standard, Celina.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, New Bremen with the Rev. Tom Mannebach celebrant. Burial will take place in German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster. The family requests casual attire for the the viewing on Thursday. A viewing will also be held from 9-10 a.m. Friday.
