Photo by Mark Pummell/The Daily Standard

A robin snacks on a berry along Monroe Road near West Bank Road on Tuesday afternoon. All area schools were closed today for the third consecutive day this week due to hazardous road conditions and frigid temperatures. Mercer County is no longer under a snow emergency, although most roads remain snow- and ice-covered. Today's high is expected to reach 18 with an overnight low of 8. Warmer conditions are on tap with highs of 25, 38 and 41 forecast the next three days.
