A Celina police officer inspects a 1997 green Chevrolet Geo attached to a tow truck Monday afternoon after it was located in Beaver Creek west of Meyer Road south of Schunk Road. Celina police had issued a be-on-the-lookout alert for the vehicle which had been reported stolen after 4:30 a.m. Monday. Mercer County Sheriff's deputies and Celina police responded to a call at 5:11 p.m. after it had been located in the creek. The vehicle was traveling eastbound on a trail near the creek when it traveled off the path and into the creek. It was unoccupied at the time of discovery, according to the Mercer County Sheriff's Office report.
